Like so many things, my blog is here for one main reason: my fiancé told me to. A more descriptive reason is because I love being a father and love writing. I’d like to post here the things I’ve learnt about both; often from mistakes, sometimes from moments of inspiration, occasionally from just having to fight through. I hope to share the things that have helped me and that may help others like me. If you don’t mind, I’ll include a little about myself as I go.

I am not a published writer, and not a highly educated know-it-all. I’ve not won any awards for parenting either (yet!). What I write will just be the little I do know and get by on, like most of the rest of you. Here’s to family life, and dreaming!
